Cancellation policy for orders
Orders without installation:

Cancellation before shipping confirmation: An order can only be canceled if you have not yet received a shipping confirmation. Contact our customer service to cancel the order.

Order already sent:
- Refuse at the door: Refuse the package upon delivery. The package is then automatically returned to us.
- Return shipment: Accept the package and send it back to us for a refund.
Orders with installation appointment:
Because our products are specifically adjusted for your vehicle, other rules apply for orders with installation agreements:

Cancellation period and costs:
- Within 14 days of ordering: Customers have the right to cancel their order free of charge within 14 days after placing the order, if there are still there not a definitive installation appointment is planned. This is in accordance with the legal right to free return.
- After 14 days: If a customer cancellation after this period of 14 days, cancellation costs will be charged on € 149.

Irrevocable appointment:
- Final installation appointment: Once a definitive installation agreement has been established, cancellation of the appointment is no longer possible without cancellation costs of € 149 of the total order amount being charged if this cancellation takes place within 48 hours of determining the appointment. The reason for this is that the products are specifically configured for your vehicle immediately after making the appointment. These products are tailor -made and therefore not interchangeable with other vehicles, which entails expenses that cannot be reversed.

Resisting agreements:
- Twice free of charge: Customers can change their installation appointment twice free of charge.
- With a third change: With a request for a third relocation of the agreement, a advance payment of 50% of the total amount is required. In the event of cancellation after this third change, cancellation costs of € 149 will be charged.

Unannounced absenteeism at appointment:
- Not registered Absence: If a customer is not present at the planned appointment without reporting this to Caroptions within 24 hours prior to the appointment, we will charge an expense allowance of € 149. These costs are invoiced on the basis of the total order amount. If the customer chooses to resist the appointment, the amount charged will be deducted from the total amount due when completing the installation.

You can change the address via PostNL via the 'Track & Trace' (received in the shipping confirmation) if it is not yet too far in the delivery process.
Click on the 'Track & Trace' and then click on 'Change delivery'.
Select the type of vehicle for the product you want to order, place the product in your digital shopping cart by clicking on "Add to shopping cart", then "view shopping cart" and finally on "checkout". Then go through the steps to place an order.

The delivery time of our products varies depending on the specific vehicle model. Since every carPlaybox is configured for the chosen vehicle, this can lead to different delivery times per product. In general, we strive to send the same day.
You can click on the tracking link included in your shipping confirmation email. This will redirect you to the carrier’s website (UPS, FedEx, or USPS), where you can see the latest status of your package.
The delivery time of our products depends on the specific vehicle model. Since every CarPlayBox is custom-configured for your car, shipping may vary. On average, delivery takes about one week.
You don’t have to do anything. If you’re not home, the carrier will usually leave the package at your doorstep or with a neighbor. In some cases, it may be delivered to a nearby UPS, FedEx, or USPS location for pickup. You’ll receive an email or a notice with the details.

Services (carried out by caroptions) such as installing a carPlaybox, smart screen system, rear view camera or dashcam are not covered by the right of withdrawal once the installation has been carried out. This is because it concerns work and customization that cannot be undone. In this case, the right of withdrawal is therefore exclusively excluded for the installation itself. The right of withdrawal will continue to apply to the installed products, provided that they are dismantled within 14 days and returned in good condition.
Do you want to refrain from your purchase within 14 days, but is the product already installed by Caroptions? Then we can - only within that period - dismantle the product free of charge for you. In that case you will receive the purchase amount of the product back. Note: this applies only For the product itself, not for the installed installation.
Free -switched functions such as original CarPlay or Android Auto cannot be technically reversed. That is why there is no right of withdrawal as soon as they have been carried out.
The legal warranty applies to all items that you buy from us. Legal guarantee means that a product is or must do what the consumer can reasonably expect from it. A factory warranty also applies to some products. This warranty does not affect the legal warranty.
You can of course expect a good product with every purchase. For that reason, the warranty covers all the defects that you as a user cannot be to blame for. Among other things, fall, impact and water damage are not included.
Depending on the type of accessory, it is covered under warranty. For example, certain accessories are intended to wear out and they are therefore not covered by the warranty.
